An Enigmatic Fragment of a Statuette
There are no direct parallels for this statuette. The dot in lozenge pattern on the garment is known from other Egyptian contexts spanning a range of time from the 16th Century BCE to the 7th Century CE, but is not otherwise attested on a garment that looks like this. The proportions of the body suggest a date in either Dynasty 30 or the Ptolemaic Period.

Provenance unknown.

c. 4th Century BCE
