Block Statue of Min, Overseer of Weavers
This statue is now in the Brooklyn Museum but once was in Thebes (probably) – it is likely to've sat in the outer room of a temple. It represents a man called Min, whose title on his inscription is "Overseer of Weavers".

This particular example is from the early New Kingdom, but the type of statue dates back to the Middle Kingdom. I like the elegance of the stone, the detail of the carving and the contrast with the hieroglyphs which really stand out even 3500 years later.
